Daddy Donkey has been serving delectable burritos in Leather Lane Market since 2006, originally from a van, now from a permanent shop. ‘Burrito’ means literally ‘little donkey’, and here they make giant ones – hence the ‘daddy’. This is Mexican street food served by friendly staff, with an uncomplicated menu including a burrito bowl for those who don’t fancy the large flour tortillas. Salsas range from mild to extra hot and can be a good way to add some kick as the ingredients, while fresh and tasty, can be a bit bland for some palates. Be ready to place your order – the staff work fast.
